Technical Recruiter

Type:  Full-Time Employee

Location: Annapolis, MD

Job Description:

Seeking a strong Technical Recruiter with a minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience within a fast-paced environment. Lead the Recruitment function for the company. Work with Executives to conduct workforce planning. Work with hiring managers to develop position descriptions. Utilize metrics to quantify recruitment efforts. Incorporate and utilize social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, blogs, x-ray searches, etc.) to identify passive talent. Post jobs on job boards. Source and screen candidates, set up interviews, collect feedback, negotiate offers, conduct background checks and reference checks. Manage orientation for new hires. This is a corporate position.

Required Skills:.

  • 3+ years experience as a Technical Recruiter (experience with SAP recruiting a plus)
  • Experience cold-calling
  • Ability to effectively use creative sourcing techniques to find passive talent
  • Experience working in a fast-paced hiring environment (staffing agency experience a plus)
  • Excellent organization and communication skills

Job Description:

Help improve organizational performance through the analysis of existing business problems and development of plans for improvement. Possess knowledge and experience leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvements. Utilize project management principles to provide status reporting and project deliverables. Perform quality reviews and be able escalate issues appropriately. Responsible for the collection, analysis, review, documentation and communication of business needs and requirements. Focus on developing and improving business processes at all times, assisting with the development of metrics, both within the technology and business organizations. Document existing processes, identify and analyze gaps between current processes and the desired state, design new processes, develops process performance measures and plan the transition to a new process. Provide organizational change management assistance, technology implementation consulting, strategy development, documentation, facilitation and communication expertise.

Required Skills:.

  • Must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, process management and business systems requirements definition.
  • Must have a strong understanding of information systems, business processes, and be able to identify key drivers and measures of success.
  • Knowledge of current industry best practices, methodologies and frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Federal agency consulting experience (Big 5 consulting experience preferred)

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred; PMP highly preferred

Travel Requirements: Less than 25%

Job Description:

Serves client needs by delivering and evaluating services at a client location; supports staff; makes clients' job(s) easier.

Required Skills:.

  • Achieves client services operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing status reports; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change; facilitating meetings; documenting meeting summary.
  • Assists service objectives by determining requirements; defining, assembling, and scheduling required service resources; confirming costs; defining service measurements.
  • Resolves issues by obtaining and coordinating reaction among service areas.
  • Increases revenue by recommending new and additional services to client.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
